<div>We had about 2.5 days in London and tried to see as much as possible! We ended up walking almost 20K steps each day!</div><div><br></div><div>Our favorite part was roaming around Notting Hill, which is the area we stayed. It is like an even more charming version of West Village, New York. Great restaurants, coffee shops, and an endless amount of charming houses!&nbsp;</div>

London is layered with history, where medieval and Victorian complement a rich and vibrant modern world. The Tower of London and Westminster neighbor local pubs and markets, and time-worn rituals like the changing of the guards take place as commuters rush to catch the Tube. It’s a place where travelers can time-hop through the city, and when they’re weary, do as Londoners do and grab a “cuppa” tea.

Landed at noon and took the train and then tube to Airbnb (we really should have just taken an Uber).  We dropped out bags and took the tube to Central London to start seeing the main sites!

Thursday: July 6

Big Ben Clock

Shoreditch

Started morning in Notting Hill walking around. Went into Central London to walk around see more of the main sites, went back to Notting Hill for dinner.

Friday: July 7

We did a LOT of walking. We spent the morning in Notting Hill at Portobello Market. We then walked to Abbey Road to do some Beatles exploring, then to Camden market for food and drinks. Then off to Shoreditch for the night.

Saturday: July 8

Notting Hill - Concept Serviced Apartments

Stayed in flat in a cute & safe area that’s close to tube stations to easily see the main tourist sites. Feels very similar to west village area of New York, but with even more charm with all the colorful buildings!

🚗 Took an Uber to Tish for dinner, and then Ubered back to Airbnb.

Shaftesbury Memorial Fountain

🚇 25 min tube ride from Notting Hill to Piccadilly Circus = Go to Labroke Station > take yellow circle line to Hammersmith > then take Bakerloo brown line to Piccadilly Circus.

🚌 next to the Piccadilly Circus Fountain is a city tour bus ticket booth. We did the hop on hop off bus to get aquatinted with the city and it was great! Seems super touristy, and it is, but it’s perfect for first couple hours in a new city. 

🚇 took the tube from Ladbroke > pink to Hammersmith > Changed trains to purple Piccadilly line and off at Knightsbridge.

🚶🏻‍♀️Got off the hop on and off bus at Hyde park and walked around the park. Then walked around Mayfair grabbed drinks at Ye Grapes.

🚇 took the tube. Got on at Westminster station and took the yellow circle line to Notting Hill Gate, then walked a few minutes to Gold restaurant (which is a block from Airbnb) and walked around Notting hill more.
